Endeavour Energy is a state owned electricity infrastructure company which owns, maintains and operates the electrical distribution networks for western Sydney and the Illawarra region of NSW, Australia.

Endeavour Energy wanted to encourage customer loyalty by offering utility through the introduction of a modern client-facing outage app that displays current and scheduled outages to customers in their area, with the ability to report broken power poles and lights.

Empirical Works worked with Endeavour Energy to scope and design the product solution, and develop the app so it was able to integrate and obtain outage data from Endeavour’s systems, and assisted the Endeavour team with the deployment and release of the completed solution.

The Works Sydney is a digital agency in Sydney Australia, providing marketing and technical solutions for client such as Jim Beam, Optus, Woolworths and Thrifty.

The Works wanted to increase their client Jim Beam’s brand awareness through an innovative viral marketing campaign, where users would be able to collect special Jim Beam cans, and then scan the cans to collect in-app music instruments that can be used to create music that can be shared over social media.

Empirical Works assisted The Works Sydney with the product design and complete technical development of the app, including the can-scanning component, the animated game and the music generation and viral social media sharing component.

The Works Sydney is a digital agency in Sydney Australia, providing marketing and technical solutions for client such as Jim Beam, Optus, Woolworths and Thrifty.

The Works wanted to build brand awareness for their Skoda client, in conjunction with the Tour Down Under cycling event. They wanted to build an ongoing relationship with the Skoda customers, by creating a cycling tool that will not only promote the event, but be useful to them before and after the event.

Empirical Works assisted The Works Sydney with the product design and complete technical development of the app, which featured heavy use of GPS tracking technology and social-gaming leaderboards.

Wunderman Australia

Wunderman Australia Sydney Logo For Case Study

Wunderman Australia is a global network of advertising, marketing and consulting companies with offices in 60 countries.

Wunderman Australia wanted to enhance the retail experience by adding a digital component to the brick-and-mortar experience, for their Levi’s/Myer client in Australia.

Empirical Works assisted Wunderman Australia with the development of the app, creating an in-store tablet app for deployment in their Sydney stores that allowed in-store shoppers to interact and browse a digital catalogue of jeans from the tablet interface.
